From half-finished weekend projects to Interhovse and Ditch Day remnants to the spoils of dumpster diving adventures, there are always interesting gadgets to play with.<\/p>\n<p>From my vantage point on our swingy couch, here are a few of the interesting things I can see lying around&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>* a stolen street sign nailed to a tree<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-wGNPnE9XMiE\/TglPST_0HMI\/AAAAAAAAABc\/snxxWd-frUE\/s1600\/P1020825.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-wGNPnE9XMiE\/TglPST_0HMI\/AAAAAAAAABc\/snxxWd-frUE\/s320\/P1020825.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>* a slightly charred 55 gallon oil drum<\/p>\n<p>* a table saw<\/p>\n<p>* a drill press<\/p>\n<p>* a large tank of LN2<\/p>\n<p>* a large wooden spool, for spool-walking purposes<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-3rXabCzQeXE\/TglP29QAx5I\/AAAAAAAAABk\/R9sKrQfvG6s\/s1600\/P1020823.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-3rXabCzQeXE\/TglP29QAx5I\/AAAAAAAAABk\/R9sKrQfvG6s\/s320\/P1020823.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<p>* a gazebo, complete with benches and creeping grapevines<\/p>\n<p>* pieces of our dismantled 1976 Ford Cobra II Mustang (fondly nicknamed &#8220;Old Kentucky Shark&#8221;)<\/p>\n<p>* a meat smoker<\/p>\n<p>* an old tire filled with mysterious liquid labeled &#8220;Do Not Touch&#8221;<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-RIla7K9nBTM\/TglQYwKK2XI\/AAAAAAAAABo\/dfbqsj3DM3g\/s1600\/P1020820.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-RIla7K9nBTM\/TglQYwKK2XI\/AAAAAAAAABo\/dfbqsj3DM3g\/s320\/P1020820.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>* several bags of sand<\/p>\n<p>* a recently repaired ice machine<\/p>\n<p>* 6 feet of coiled copper tubing<\/p>\n<p>* tupperware labeled &#8220;Not For Food&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>* a pressurized water cannon<\/p>\n<p>* a blast shield<\/p>\n<p>* a motorcycle donated by a creepy alum (that we lost the key to and some frosh<br \/>\nsubsequently hotwired)<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-Nm3pu8UVvnY\/TglQnT9Yx8I\/AAAAAAAAABs\/yuu3G9brCA8\/s1600\/P1020821.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-Nm3pu8UVvnY\/TglQnT9Yx8I\/AAAAAAAAABs\/yuu3G9brCA8\/s320\/P1020821.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>* an arc welder<\/p>\n<p>* a copy of the &#8220;Principles of Modern Chemistry&#8221; textbook that is partially sawed<br \/>\nin half<\/p>\n<p>* two milk jugs of hydrochloric acid<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; yeah, I don&#8217;t know either.
